Hey everyone! My name is Rebecca-I blog at Mommy In Heels and own a boutique, Elizabeth & West Fashion House! I’ll be sharing with you all some great finds that would be perfect for a boudoir session with Jenn!
I am sure when a lot of women hear “boudoir photos” they think equal parts excitement and nerves, with the nerves focusing mainly on what to wear.
There is no need to be nervous, because the cool thing is, we all have different body types, and there are so many different types of lingerie that cater specifically to those body types.
Curvy: corsets are for you! The fact that you are able to tighten corsets gives you the opportunity to accentuate your waist as much or as little as you like. Plus, you can pair them with a really great garter belt for a little added va va va voom!
Busty: If you are a busty gal, focus on balconette or demi bras. They keep the girls in without losing any of the sex appeal you are looking for when getting your boudoir photos-think functional yet sexy. High waisted briefs and/or boy shorts are a great option to wear with your bra as they help balance you out.
Hourglass: If you have this type of figure (which can sort of be similar to curvy) opt for anything with a garter belt. They help accentuate your waist, similar to a corset. Bodysuits with a plunging, deep V can are also a great option to accentuate what curves you have.
Fuller tummy: If your stomach area is your major concern, opt for the babydoll style lingerie. Believe it or not, even though it has such a childish name, they can be rather appealing when paired with a cute pair of undies.
Straight/sporty: If you are lacking in the curve department something with a high waist can give the illusion of a defined waist. Adding a demi bra can also increase the look of curves as well.
Small chested: If this is a concern for you, consider layering a bra underneath what lingerie you will be wearing to give you some enhancement.
If lingerie still makes you nervous think a little outside of the box-grab your husbands tie to pair with your favorite pair of undies. Are they a sports fan? Toss on their favorite team jersey and wear it with nothing but a smile for a few photos, or grab their favorite tee shirt!
I created a couple of different collages with a lot of great options for all different body types, from your every day boy shorts (jazzed up a bit of course) to body suits with a plunging neckline. If I can elaborate a little more on the body suits with a plunging neckline, although I mentioned them for the hourglass figure, I really do think they are great for ALL body types-the deep V can give the illusion of a fuller chest (it can create the look of cleavage), it can draw the eye up if you are concerned about your tummy, but it can also accentuate your waist at the same time!
Anyway, enjoy the options I’ve provided. Regardless of your shape or size, embrace it. Take these helpful tips and give them a whirl, but one thing you need to have with you during these photo shoots is your confidence! You’ve got this

Thanks for posting these useful tips! I’m curvy and I will definitely be going for a sexy corset! I’m always looking for the right kind of erotic lingerie that fits my curves, but it can be difficult at times. But when I find something that suits me it really boosts my confidence, so I never give up the search.
