I met Brad through a mutual client and I knew right away I wanted to work with him. Brad and his team are cool and down to earth. The other day I got a chance to sit down and ask him some questions about his work. What are your clients looking for when they come to you?
I think it’s fair to say that most couples don’t know exactly what they are looking for when they start researching a cinematographer. Just like photographers, each company has their own style and it’s important that your expectations match that of which the vendor can provide. To put it simply, my clients want to know they can depend on my team and I to deliver on our promise to document your event and turn it into an unforgettable Film.
Tell us about your style? How would you describe it?
We offer what we call “Cinematic” and “Documentary” style films. While the “Cinematic” film focuses on the most important moments of your Weddings’ events; The “Documentary” film captures your events in their entirety, playing them out in linear fashion. So if it’s just the highlights you’re after or capturing every moment, we have a style that will meet your needs. Our goal while documenting your Wedding is to capture the magic in the candid moments and let your story unfold in the most unobtrusive way possible.
What kind of crew is with you when you do a wedding?
All of our packages include two cinematographers. We use multiple HD professional grade cameras and microphones during the filming process to guarantee a high quality product. We may have an assistant on hand to help us if the shoot requires but it’s not always necessary.
How do you avoid creating work that will look dated in the future?
The most important rule in filmmaking is to stick to the story. Trends will always change but emotions are constant. If you keep the couple your top priority, you’ll never be disappointed by the results.
What kind of collections/price range is your services?
CineMavericks Media offer two main styles of Film: “CineMatic” (highlight) & “Feature” (documentary). These packages range from $2,650.00 – $3,550.00 depending on amount of coverage. How long after your event will you deliver the video?
We tell our clients it takes a minimum of 16 weeks before their film will be ready to view. This may seem like a long time but each film requires hours of detailed editing. We spend the time to perfect your film and make sure your story looks like the fairytale you remember.
